Tactica Review

Hey Wargamer,

this is my first Thread in this Forum and I'm very curious about your retreats.


Last Weekend was my first visit on the yearly wargaming mess: Tactica in Hamburg (Germany).
I met a lot of interesting People and I talked with the Perry Brothers for a short time (Such very nice People and very very talented about sculpturing).
I was lucky to be there with a friend, who know a lot of People, so he introduced me them.

The Mess was not very huge but everyone know each other so the atmosphere was familiar.

I have to say that I'm pretty new in the historical wargaming hobby, so I was suprised about that historical corectness.
First I thought much of the tables were full of some invented Units, but it was not. Awesome

The large variety of different eras and rule systems was impressive and the quality of the terrain very high (the miniatures too).
For some months I prefer the ancient era, so my favorite table was the triumph and tragedy adoption in the the late roman era (400 a.d.)

After all it was a very nice Weekend and I bought a lot of cool stuff.
