Searching for Wererat figures.
« on: April 18, 2014, 12:53:37 PM »
I am looking for figures to use as upright form wererats for a fantasy campaign.
Must be true 25mm sized so much smaller than Skaven/Vyrmyn figures. (upright form as in looks like a rat but standing up).
I have human form and (giant) rat form but lack the stage between.

Anyone know a range where I can find true 25mm ratmen?
Thanks

Maybe Citadel FF13-2 or Ral Partha / AD&D 11-499 if you like authentic 25mm era classics...

Thanks Dolmot, had forgotten the FF figure.
The RP ones are perfect but I had looked through the RPE lists and nothing like that is in production as far as I can tell. Presumably not all the AD&D licensed models got rescued.

Top of my (limited) options list at the moment is the Grenadier Ratscum figures but I cannot find any size comparison on those. They look quite bulky for true 25mms.

The ratscum are quite nice minis but as you say too bulky for what you have in mind imho. The old Ral Partha Ratlings would fit well if you can find them on ebay etc. They are quite small and slim.

Quite a few on ebay at the moment although heavy postage from the US...

Iron Wind Metals has a bunch of ratmen (old Ral Partha) in their shop.

Thanks Dave, I was not sure about the Ratscum. I will look at the IWM shipping costs, they are not on the RPE site though? I have PM'd one of the eBay sellers so hopefully can get some joy there.(@joshuaslater, thanks also).
@Timotl, Unfortunately the Otherworld range are always too big/bulky for my collection and too expensive for my budget  :(

Type "ratling" into the search engine at IWMetals.   ;)

Yes, found the figures at IWM but not on the Ral Partha Europe (RPE) site, which theoretically should be the same range? just without the frightening shipping cost.
