More Sky Martian terrain
« on: 19 April 2014, 06:58:54 AM »
To go with the enclave already built here I started on another slightly larger version that will look the same.

Just the basics for now (I was in work yesterday to man the fort as it were but the phone didn't go and we only got 20 odd spam mails so I thought about making something...) but hopefully, along with the other enclave you'll get an idea on what I'm after.

The 'spire' will be smoothed off and have various undulations in it along with cut stone marks. The idea being is that this was the original style of Martian architecture before the big storm (read our Red Planet Blog for more on this here ) but this one has been re-inhabited by a Sky Martian clan so there will be Sky Martian style platforms for skiffs etc.

The stack on the left will probably be taller and will look the same as the original one.

cheers

James

This looks like it is going to be impressive.  I think I can see where your connecting rope bridge will be. It's going to be a nice piece of terrain.

A promising beginning, I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops.  :)
