What is the size comparison w TAG?

TAG and Bohemian troops are very compatible size-wise. Emil's figures appear to have displayed a bit of scale creep lately, but nothing that will make them stand out too much amidst the TAG stuff.

Been ordering from Emil for a while now, and he's always been a very efficient and reliable trader.

Second that, latest batch ordered and delivered within the week.

What is the size comparison w TAG?
I don't have a ready comparison for TAG but they should fit together, TAG maybe being slightly smaller. I'll use them in the same unit without doubt. Here is a comparison with Perry ECW and a plastic model from Warlord:

Thanks, MRTN.

The rule of thumb is that Perry roughly = TAG and the Horcata stuff looks noticeably bigger. Ouch!

Hi,
I have some on the painting table at the moment. I think they look good with TAG, Warlord Games and Empress. Empress are more slender - mure realistically proportioned that the standard wargames figurres.

I use Foundry as well which are considerably smaller, and 1st Corps which are on the shorter side but I think they have character. I vary the heights by putting card or mounting board between the base and the figure - as long as the head heights are roughly similar you don't really notice that the feet are higher, and I think the variation in poses and dress really suits the TYW. By the sound of it once a unit had been on campaign for a little while they would have been happy to wear anything they could get, and it was perhaps the last major european conflict before uniforms began to characterise regular armies.

Here is a comparison photo, showing Warlord plastic conversion, TAG, Empress, !st Corps. Perry, Redoubt (very big), Foundry, Emil - Hope you can see the attachment, it's been a while since I did this.

Hey thats a really useful comparison  :-* and shows how the inventive use of basing can allow us to have full access to all the ranges out there.

Thanks for sharing.

You're absolutely right MediumAl....with the head set at the same level the difference doesn't show...a simple but very effective way of increasing the variety of your troops...thanks for sharing
