Drool...

I don't think these would need much more than a repaint to turn into wasteland bikers.

Not much space on those bikes for tinnies and portable barbies.

No wonder they have taken the ATV along for the ride  lol

$35 Aus seems very reasonable for the whole deal. Does anyone know if they have plans for dismounted versions?

I can see all sorts of scenario possibilities with these blokes  :)

Why 25mm? The Eureka figs I own (which aren't many) are 28mm.

They do look great, I'm really tempted by these.

Dismounted versions to go with them would tip the balance.

Eureka stuff tends to be 28mm to the top of the head, compared with most modern "28s" being that height to the eye.

Doesn't stop them turning out some   :-* figures, though.

The sculpts in question are by Kostas an as such tend to be a little larger than the Mike Broadbent sculpted figures such as the US Marines. That said they are smaller than many of the 30-32mm offerings by other manufacturers.

I emailed the Eureka guys to ask about the size of their various modern figs, largely cos I am going to run a modern campaign in the next few months. The following is a quote from their response.

"The figures we make under licence in the Kriegspiel range are indeed closer to ‘true’ 25mm (foot to eye).  Our own Eureka moderns are more a 28mm figure (foot to eye) – including the new Oz Special forces motorbike riders. "

Basically there are two modern ranges produced by Eureka, Kriegspiel and their own.

These minis http://eurekamin.com.au/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=30 are the 28mm,

while these minis http://eurekamin.com.au/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=31 are the 25mm stuff.

Also, I was looking through their 100 club, and there are modern Australian special forces on foot in there. I will be registering my interest, and I encourage everyone else to do so, (pleeeeeeease  :D).
