A few Vikings....maybe Ironborn....

Hi,

Here’s my latest painting project – some Foundry Vikings (I need to get some shields for them – I don’t like the Foundry ones – seem a bit thick to me).

They may double as ironborn for my GoT collection - with a different standard

Can’t take much credit for the Longship – apart from re-locating the sail and building  a ‘stand’ for the spar….it was an Adrian Walls model, a bit expensive but I figured by the time I bought a resin one, prepared  it, painted it etc (and I'm notoriously crap at painting buildings etc)

The rune stone is my verson of the Stora Hammars one in Gotland (yep I know the red should be the carved bits not the sticky up bits – note the correct terminology!)
