British Para's(or two sticks one turn)
« on: 31 August 2014, 05:01:15 PM »
Just played the shortest game ever,52 minutes(including set up the table lol).
We've been play testing fluid drop zones. They can turn your whole plan on its head.
You start like any other game with an intended drop zone. You then role a D6,on a six your on target,1-3 your off by three D6,on a 4 your off by four D6,and on a 5 your off by six D6, So you can be off by 36".For direction we. use dice marked with an arrow,or a D12,where twelve o'clock is towards the enemy board edge.
If the score takes you off the table then you roll a D6 1-3 there lost and wont find the fight in time

Thanks ,I'm just painting up the new 1st Corps 6pdr and crew,I've a Warlords one but its completely wrong it looks it needs a good feed.a 6pdr's a chuncky piece of kit.If your interested I can add a few pictures of the 6pdr's and crew's when I've thrown some paint at them.(I didn't need them for the table ,Only two sticks ,one jeep, managed to land any where near my pathfinder's)with the dice throws I was making ,they would have landed in Dover.
I think I'll be playing Saga for a while,it doesn't feel so bad when you throw the wrong picture,as six is an evil mocking number. lol

Yes, please do drop few more pics, or rather as plenty as you like :)

The board looks wonderfully cluttered so more pics of that are welcomed as well.
