A nice concept, very well executed.
Speaking as someone who's mounted all their VSF figures on resin cobblestone bases, I can vouch for the act of getting a figure of the integral cast base being a pain in the proverbial. In the end, I've used a combination of razor saw & knife (X-Acto #24 for those interested), followed by some heavy filing/wet 'n' dry. Unless I can get a good line in with the razor saw, I tend to use vertical downwards (relative to the figure) knife cuts (with lots of pressure behind them) to remove the base around the feet, then horizontal cuts to take the base off under the feet, but being very careful to put no bending motion on the foot/leg, otherwise the figure ends up looking uncomfortably contorted. Expect to get through blades at a rate of knots doing this.
