One of my best customers decided to share some of our product on this site, and I figured I'd hop in and join the discussion.  I'd like to ask before stepping on toes or violating forum rules, am I allowed to post new products in their appropriate forums?

They outline what kind of company promotion should be posted on which board. In short, general "company news" or releases which cover many different themes/periods should be posted on the commercial board and include the tag [COMMERCIAL] in the topic title, whereas a theme/period-specific release, e.g. a range of figures for the war of XYZ, should go on the appropriate topical board.
