Some of the Perry plastic helmetted heads have flags on them. Are these supposed to be actual flappy flags or are they metal decorations?

Hi Katie,

They're called Cornets and were used by the French and Burgundians to denote which company the chap was leader of.... or thereabouts

They were decorated in the same fashion as the standard carried for that particular company. There are some examples on the Perry Flagsheet in the mounted Men at Arms box.
