Hi all!  :D

For those who may not have heard of us, Shieldwolf is a company creating an army game these past few years and also run a succesful Kickstarter a few months ago. We are also looking forward to running an even larger follow-up Kickstarter by the end of the year in order to fund plastic regiments which weren't unlocked/funded in KS-1 (which are necessary for the support of our game).

Anyway, the work behind the scenes is advancing very nicely. :)
Game rules of our Army game are evolving and a draft 1.a version is coming out next week!!!

We have already a list of playtesters volunteering from different countries, but we would like even more people to be involved and provide precious feedback!
If you are interested in helping us out, please send us an email at info@shieldwolfminiatures.com

Thank you.
The Shieldwolf Team.

E-mail sent.

Thank you for the offer.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Is it simple and fast, or has it got high levels of granularity?  :)

I suppose that depends how familiar you are with tabletop army wargaming.  8)
If I had to compare it to the complexity of Citadel's warhammer for example I'd say it's a tad easier to comprehend and without a doubt War is Coming (WiC) has a faster game flow.
If I had to compare it with the smaller KoW game instead I would say it's a very simplistic version of our game, so those players would probably have to level up both rule comprehension and advanced tactics.

We believe -and first comments from the playtesters we have received confirm it- our game has huge depth, but they have already pinpointed some errors and missing stuff that need be added and/or clarified, so we have lots of work cut out for us. Patience till Autumn strikes... :-)
