French Revolution/Eraly Napoleonic Light Infantry Conversion
« on: 07 November 2015, 06:10:16 PM »
Hello
i would appreciate some advice my Napoleonic fans taht know better than me the subject...i 'm building a French Revolutionary Army for Vendée  ecc...in 28mm..i must stick to small 28mm because my majority of figures are from Foundry/Mirliton/Touller..so i cannot use those Trent, Elite or Eureka nice misni that i saw on this forum.
in fatct i have quite a few Mirliton of this type purchased as a bargain on Ebay..

http://www.mirliton.it/images/catalog/FN097.jpg

and saw those types on Essex catalogue

http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0157/3412/products/fn130_large.jpg?v=1349889510

as the only ones with short gaiters hussar style that call for conversion into an iconic Infanterie Légère with a Mirliton Hussar style headress of which i have some  some from Perry Plastic Hussards...the idea woulbe be, out of those above mentioned bodys and heads to obtain that figure (1st from right):

and also this one from Cisalpine Republic

the main issue seem to being coat tails which, from waht i read and what manin factures choosed to depict, where long..not so shorts like my minis which represent Imperial Period types

please your opinion
thanks in advance
