Well, going against the trend here. I'm looking forward to it. I'll have to wait until after the movies to see it though as I'd have to go by myself probably but won't be doing that.

It looks like a remake of Alien, which is indeed a pointless act. I admired the first movie a lot, even if it is dated by now.

But even if I didn't, why re-animate a failing story? Or even a good one? We have already seen all that. With so many great stories that could be made into movie, why keep rehashing the old? I know of course that this is because the Laws of finance and economy proscribe this.

But still, we may hope that something like The Expanse will at least be a full TV series, if not a movie...

I really love it...but note: I haven't read the novels! My mate warned me that people who read the novels might not like it as much.

How bad can that be not to fuel a bit of inspiration?
I will watch it for the fun of it. I learned to drop expectations and try to watch every new movie from a children point of view. Since I do I rarely get disappointed now...

Looks promising to me. Can't wait to see M. Fassbender interacting with himself as David/Walter  i hope there's Guy Pearce in it aswell.
