Reaper's on an undead kick
« on: July 04, 2017, 05:55:41 PM »
Again.  Big surprise, yeah?  Bunch of new skeletal minis from Bob Ridolfi on their store today, all metal for a change.

https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore

I quite like them, good to see more nonhuman skellies on the market and they've got a unified look which is nice.

Undead Minotaur - kind of expensive but I've seen worse deals.

Undead Dwarf - so stubborn he keeps his beard?

Undead Elf - proof positive that those flowing elven manes are actually wigs?

Undead Halfling - could be a kid's skeleton too, I would think.

The Boss Himself - now we need a companion model where he's high-fiving an IRS agent in a suit.

Vampire Gal - for those who prefer their undead horrors with some flesh on their bones.

Antipaladin Gal - really like the shield on this one.

Half-Orc Merchant - different, I'll give it that.

I remember some of them from the Bones kickstarters ( undead dwarf/elf ), and because of that I din't buy them.
Good to see they're in metal now  :).

They had a six miniature set in the Bones 3 KS, including the first five above, called the Undying Lords or something like that. I got them in spite of the clothing/hair issue mentioned above, and normally I just get big beasties in Bones -- but options for non-human skeletons are limited. I think the minotaur is what sold me -- and if it looks really good in person when the Bones order arrives, I may consider metal.

I really like that half-orc merchant!

I really like that half-orc merchant!

He's make a good paymaster for your half-orc mercenaries: shades of Earwangle (with the regimental pay-chest on his back) from Mudat's Mercenaries.

I might have to pick up the half-ork.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

The Half-Orc Merchant I'd like him for a pack mule figure in Frostgrave.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

I guess they feel the need to populate the Graveyard Expansion thingy they came up with in their Bones K.S..
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx
