Stormin' Normans for Sword and Spear

The Basementeers played their second game of Sword and Spear tonight pitting Normans against Anglo Danes in a 350 points a side battle . The Norman list included 1 X Lt Cavalry unit with javelins, 4 X Mtd Knights,  6 X Spearmen ( Heavy Foot ) and 2 X Archer units ( Medium Foot ) .  The A. Danes had 4 X units of Huscarls ( 2 with spears and 2 with axes ) , 4 X Select Fyrd, 4 X Fyrd and 2 X Archers ( Light Foot ) .
