troops for Russiamn Civil War
« on: 30 April 2016, 09:54:01 PM »
I'm looking for soldiers, NCOs and officers for both the Reds and the Whites in 28mm.  I figure to do large skirmishes, 20-30 a side with  few MGs to spice things up. Iwill eventually add Brits, and Americans and others  to the mix later.  Also want a mix of head gear like the felt helmets, furry hats and regular soldiers caps to keep things looking interesting.  As always cheaper is better, but I don't mind spending on good castings!!  Any help is deeply appreciated!!

Being based in Michigan, Brigade Games (USA) will give you the best bang for your buck!
But Copplestone's stuff (UK) is fantastic and not much more expensive.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Wow!!   Many thanks for the help, gang!!  I'm looking to do some skirmish forces from both sides that I can eventually blend into some pulp games as well.  Brigade games seem like a winner as I live in Michigan too!!  Again thanx tons for your pointers, chaps!!!!

Siberia has some great figures that are not found elsewhere, Poles, Basmachi, and some great character sets:

I just got an order from them, great figures and great service

Yes I've been eying the Siberia stuff, especially the defense and offense of the mansion!  But I can't figure out how many figures you get for the amount of money charged!  If you get all of those for what the price is  its a huge bargain but if you only get like 1 or 2 for that price then its not so great!  Beautiful castings, to say the least!!

The defenders of the manor was one of the packs I had just gotten, and it includes all the pictured figures, 17 if you include the horse and the wolf hound - for $41 US - a good deal - they are very nice sculpts.  Some may find them a bit cartoony but I think they have a lot of character.
