I'm looking for 28mm camels to use for conversions as well as some that carry Arabs or Mahdist's. Who makes them and who carries them. Thanks

Try Castaway Arts they have loads of different camels for the period and area.

Ebob sells them. And Copplestone has the two humped, bactrioan kind. And Perry.

I have some of those. Took a bit of cleaning up casting-wise but pretty good. And the price, especially if you wait for the sale to come round, is just about unbeatable.
