thinning Vallejo model color pots
« on: 04 November 2016, 08:38:31 PM »
As the Post title says ...
I have a number of vallejo model color pots that are getting very thick with age and I want to thin the pots down a little so as they dispence better but dont go off.
Tried water and also vallejo's own thinners/diluyente a few years ago as a test but in both cases the paints went off very fast ( solid ) within weeks.

anyone know what to use to thin them but still keep expand the shelf life of the paints ?

thanks Tel

For years I just used a few drop of water in the bottle to thin them. Recently I used Vallejo airbrush thinner. That was a month or 2 ago and I haven't noticed those paints thickening up. Hopefully they won't.
