Citadel Paint to Vallejo Game Color Conversion
« on: December 23, 2008, 06:48:35 PM »
I have found a few lists that have the conversion from Citedel to Vallejo, but none of them are current.  Citadel recently discontinued more colors in its line and I thought it would be a good idea to have a current list.

Here is the URL: http://knitemare.org/files/vallejo-citadel_color_lists.htm

Scroll down to see the Vallejo colors that exist for Out of Production Citadel colors.

Black Hat do the Coat D'Arms paints which are even in the same style pots as the old Citadel colours (as well as being from the same factory) for those like me that do not use Vallejo and hate dropper bottles.

There is a conversion chart on the last page of their pdf catalogue too

Did anyone else find the names of the Vallejo paints slightly amusing? Quite clever!

Very clever, and I'm glad they've done this. I wasn't aware citadel had discontinued these. There are paints I started with 20 years ago that I have in my kit which are still viable, and I wish they were still manufactured. So Vallejo's choice to keep these hues available within their own line is much appreciated, even if I don't use all shades.

One miniature is too many, and a thousand are not enough...
