@Cubs: yeah, I got some older GB's aswell and frankly I wouldn't dare to release those on an unsuspecting world  :?
I feel the most difficult part on plastics is to get chainmail arms look about right on the body itself, with clothing it's less of a problem. But I'll stop moaning now, it's your topic and again, I greatly admire your pj's, both inspiring and a joy to behold. Made me clean up and undercoat a few Black Tree Saxons last night  :D.

I agree with this completely. As well as the actual detail of the chain pattern, the shoulder-joins are sometimes difficult to hide with multi-parts and the way the mail then hangs on the upper arms can look weird if you try to position the arm differently. It's one reason why I try to avoid positioning plastics with the arms pointing upwards (plus it looks silly), but prefer to show the weapons and shields as having weight, drooping downwards slightly.

But at the same time, it is fun to put the models together, they're good fun for converting and kit-bashing and let's face it, they're cheap!

Amen brother! Sometimes (I am guilty of this...) in an effort to get a bit of variety, the models can end up looking un-natural; not the case here.

I really like your paint style, very realistic and earthy.
They look like hard dudes that you don't mess with. :)
