Looking For New Parts Ideas
« on: 04 March 2017, 05:25:32 PM »
Hi folks.  I'm looking for some feedback concerning post apoc bits and parts.  Are there specific guns, heads, etc. you are looking for?

As far as bits go, civilian style backpacks and book bags.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

American foot ball and hockey style armor and football helmets. only thing I can think of off the top of my head.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Seconded the football gear. Same for other improvised armour like motorcycle helmets, cut tyre shoulder pads etc.

Here are two sets of torsos I have currently...

Are you looking for other things like legs or arms with similar pads or is it just torsos?

On things like helmets, do you want the "off the shelf" helmet or something with some PA-style patches and upgrades?

Really... 28mm true scale.

There are a bunch of heroic scale models that can be kitbashed for post apocalyptic style, many in the warhammer range, and a whole bunch of heroic scale bit manufactorers making heads and weapons for that scale.

True scale bits of any sort are few and far between. Some thing that could go with various historic or 'project z' like models to make them look post apocalypse would be great.

Ahd I would.love some 28mm true scale football stuff like that.

derp forgot you already made those. I am thinking off the shelf style and the a PA style with Mohawks and such attached. One works good for the nice guy town folks, the other for the wild savage types.

Civilian weapons. One tires of the plethora of figures of characters who somehow just find current military smallarms, as well as the latest new weapons, and generally weapons that mark them out as exclusively American characters. I even did some ideas sprues here:

NOT buying a 28mm WW2 army for the foreseeable. Deal with it.

Plain non time specific horse rider legs to fit 28mm horses for conversions...Plenty of potential for post apocalyptic games...The fuel will inevitably run out...(and maybe rider legs wearing great coats and high boots)
