The Game Color line is meant to match the old GW line both in color and in matte-ness. GW paints have always been a "semi-satin", having a very smooth finish, but not truly gloss. The Model Color black is a wonderful, dense matte black. But the Game Color is more like GW's Chaos Black, which is also dense, but almost a semi-gloss.
