Thankyou very much.
I made the river from lengths of mdf. High gloss yacht varnish is the key to a great shine and nice reflections  ;)

What did you use for the banks? I know in the past i used clay but it didn't take to the mdf, and I'm worried if i used plaster it might warp.

I used thin cardboard for the banks, then covered that in plaster. When it warps upward at each end. Simply glue paper on the whole underside. When this dries it shrinks and pulls the warp back out and leaves it lovely and straight. This is a method used by book makers. Works everytime  ;)

A most impressive looking game, and fantastic brushwork on the figures.  I am suitably humbled.

Great all around, and thanks for the stream idea. I want to try that too. I'm just starting on my SP2 project in 18mm!
