Dead Mans Hand 28mm pt 2

Game of Dead Mans Hand skirmish cowboy rules, great set of rules to have, they are simple and quick, lots of those small details you want in a cowboy game that give it that bit of more fun, plenty of laughs and banter...game was for the Indians to attack the town and just wipe out and burn as much as possible.

Wet nice table.  The game is always more enjoyable / memorable for such a setting.

Beautiful buttes.

Hey, I said "buttes"!

Fantastic looking game - table, miniatures, the whole shebang. Makes me want to drag my Old West stuff out and build a couple more buildings. I haven't touched them in at least three years, which is disappointing, really. I may have to give Dead Man's Hand a look - you say that the rules capture that Old West movie feel? Any other thoughts? I'd like to know more before taking the plunge.

Thanks!

I have gamed with a number of cowboy set rules, never really got into them and felt maybe its too much details, being skirmish for me it needs details but not overload it....the cards you are dealt with in the game make it fun, which is what we want, simple enough to remember rules, but getting the three cards, its like playing poker, you throw your card in when you want to....had a good dead eye shot at me by one player, i played my hostage card....so he shot the the lady with the pink bonnet....i ran off after that...good set of rules

Thanks, Nevermore. When it comes to skirmish games, I don't mind too much detail, but rules that are simple/straightforward are definitely ones that I favour these days, and I like the idea of the cards - worth checking out, I think!
