I've never before voted for miniatures whose faces I cannot see, but that cape really grabbed me.

Thanks!

I'll post a view from the front once this round is done... I'm very proud of how well I applied a customized set of Little Big Men Shield transfers to their shields (including special rose decals for Rhodes),   ;)  but I figured the rear angle better demonstrates whatever humble painting skill I have.

Two nice entries and very different - Love the sumptuousness of the ancients colours - Love the pulp figures as well, I always think the one on blue looks like Steve McQueen although I can never think why.  Are the bases of the sailors made from real wood as they give an effective finish.

The sailors need some depth to them.  Excellent brush control, though.

And the Greeks... wow.

Yes, he also reminds me of the character Steve McQueen played in Sand Pebbles.

The sailors need some depth to them.
Agree! Made the decision to catch my flight to Sint-Maarten instead of doing any highlights, deepening the shadows, or painting more details so it's mostly basecoat. My bad but no regrets. Will be going over these later.

Yes. Coffee stir stick planks glued to a steel washer, cut to size, and etched a bit. Painted with basecoat, slight dry brush and a wash. I really like how they came out.

@Ivan DBA  Great paint job... victory well deserved.

Thanks Braz.  I hope you'll post another picture of these guys, it's a really cool set of figures.  And the Tommy gunner is definitely Steve McQueen!
