Wall's Bridge - Sharp Practice AAR
« on: 12 May 2017, 02:38:49 PM »
Hi,

after reading about Grierson's raid, I naturally wanted to play some of the actions on the tabletop. Fortunately, Sharp Practice is perfect for those kind of actions, so last weekend, we had a scenario based on the skirmish at Wall's Bridge.

Union scouts ambushed:

...and the skirmish is on:

Thanks for the kind words!
Yes, they are 15mm, almost all of them from Peter Pig. Some skirmishers are from Essex, some 'Butternut Guerillas' and command (the officer rallying the cavalry) from Freikorp15.

No, I never tried them, would be interested though, as I generally like Ganesha Games' stuff. Are they small skirmish (like SOBH) or large skirmish like Sharp Practice?

Both. on the rules you can use groups of 10 to 15 figures or units like Sharpe Practice.
