Hi folks,
Here's my latest completed project, the 28mm Brickworks from
Black Grom Studio. No connection with the company but as a satisfied customer I can recommend this supplier - prompt and helpful service from Poland to Australia via ebay.
I shall be using it mainly for WW2 gaming, but it will also do duty in steampunk and modern settings, and anything in between. It is ostensibly a brickworks, but can work as any small industrial building of the era.
The kit goes together well, and is very versatile with a number of separate components. It includes a partial second floor inside the main building, and all the components are modular allowing various arrangements of chimney, office building, main hall and shed. A door on the first floor of the main building allows access via a removable ramp.
I made a few tweaks:
- left off the big loading door on the main building
- glued on printer paper bricks from paperbrick.co.uk
- added corrugated card roof to the roof plates
- glued coffee-stirrers to the ramp
- please note the figure, vehicles and cobblestone mat are not part of the kit

And as luck has it, the whole thing packs up for convenient transport and storage...

All stowed away:

Hope you enjoy.
