Yeah, generally on searches.  I can load the main page fine.  (To clarify, I've not seen a 404, just the ISE's).

I've had quite a few internal server errors at random times.

I can help diagnose if desired, as it's my day job, but the powers that be probably already have their ways and means!

I've had a few recently, not happened before but three or four times in the last week.

Yeah, happening all the time.

My guess is the Russians are trying to influence the LPL  lol

Here too but it mysteiously stopped after I voted for the Brother Vinni sculpted naked Putin figure astride a bear in round seven. Not sure if the two things are related.

I get both the white, internal server error page and a page that just looks like the domain name has been registered fairly regularly recently - a couple of times yesterday. Weird.

Today has been particularly bad. Been a lot of:

"Error 404: NOT FOUND!

This domain name has just been registered.

Why is this page displayed?"

pages.

Me too- happened a few times this morning and about half an hour ago when I was voting in the LPL...  :(

Not sure if helpful or not, but to be clear I've had 3 instances of this page today alone

Hi all.

This is a recurrent problem which afflicts the forum every now and then.
I'm not technical in the least, so I can't tell you what causes it or what the cure is.
The Prof usually makes some adjustments with the hosting service and the problem goes away.
Or sometimes it's a tech or capacity problem with the server host. It's rarely a problem with the forum software itself, IIRC.
Unfortunately The Prof is busy/away at the moment, and I'm not sure about Chris, who is the other forum supremo and technically aware person.
I think this is one for The Prof however, and I'm sure he'll get onto it as soon as he is able to.
But I'm afraid in the meantime you might just have to live with the inconvenience of having to try again later for a few days  :)

It's a good job you're not paying for it, right? ;)

Cheers.

Richard

Sorry yes, absolutely - didn't mean it to come across as grumbling from me, more concern over our lovely forum! We'll await the good Prof.
