Pirates in the Caribbean again
« on: 16 May 2017, 10:54:20 AM »
Another game of Congo (the 'Escalation along the Nzairi River' scenario), but transposed the the Mosquito Coast with two bands of pirates trying to retrieve treasure from the crocodile infested river.
A great game, with many twists of fortune, and three crocodile attacks, two of which resulted in dead crocodiles.

Sounds like fun.  Poor crocks, though.

The river was made about 25 years ago. I can't recall when I last used it.
It's just sheet perspex painted on the bottom. usually gets used for rivers along the edge of the table or coastlines (hence the straight edges in the centre), but putting two bits together you can make a wide river.
