How I paint my 28mm British Napoleonics
« on: 27 May 2017, 08:53:16 AM »
Somebody somewhere asked how I paint my miniatures so I have posted a article on my blog Jabba's Wargaming

Hope it's of some interest.

Tony.

Hi Jabba, articles of that sort are always useful and welcome. I like your idea of having a table for the different facing colours.
I will soon be painting Peninsular units myself so it was good to read. A very interesting hodge-podge unit too! Thanks for taking the trouble.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Thanks Tony, enjoyed, the figures are really nice. Do you use the wash neat or is it watered down? I have been using a 3:2 water to wash mix, but I am never fully convinced or decided on these things.

Put it on neat but sometimes then go over it with a wet brush to thin it down, mostly on the white trousers if i think they look too dark.
