Yep, Winsor&Newton Professional Matt Varnish. Flatter than flat  8)

cheers, just waiting for it to be delivered, do you varnish before or after you've applied the dry basing mix?  I'm thinking about the pigments reacting with the varnish.

You're quite right! I base them after the varnish. Unless I forget..then I dunk them into the basing sand again later to regain the 'dust' effect  :D

FNG, ex Red Star, available through Empress or for antipodeans, Elite Miniatures Orrstraya. Lovely figures they are too. Paul Hicks sculpts.

Yep and for any one living in North America that is interested. Age of Glory miniatures, also carries the full line. And if my memory is correct, I believe they are the ones that own the FNG line.

Excellent paintjobs with a very convincing camo scheme. I also like the flesh colouration.

Looks good! Gory question..... what paint did you use for the blood and how did you apply I? It's very effective! .
