Lovely conversions and painting.

I find doing washes on larger miniatures requires you to break down the miniature into sections. I think it's because subconsciously you're treating it as a 28mm miniature in time/effort. The leg on a 54mm can be as big as a whole 28mm miniature. I can't see you having had that problem here (as I guess you were able to work what works for you out).

on vehicles - just look at each area and give it the same amount of effort as you would do a

Amazing stuff and great paint jobs. Really brings home how massive some of the heroic 28mm bits really are when you see them used in 54mm.

Thanx for your replies.
And yes: its a lot of fun...but it takes sooo long....:)

Here are a few more shots...

And I had a wierd idea for a shalfling sniper. Why not take Nork Deddog as a base and just add a big gun and some hair....:)

...and a close up.

Cheers,
Don

Okay...here are a few more conversions.

A had one of these old chaos terminator like things laying around.

I streched the legs and added the head of an old Slaneesh greater demon.

Lots of greenstuff...
..weapons will be lasgun and flamer.

...and I had these necron character model. Sadly incomplete...from a bring and buy for small money.
So I added some coffe sticks and a few chains from a juwlery store.

Will serve as a bound demon of course.

Cheers,
Don

Some truly wonderful creations in this thread.
I love 'em!
 :-* :-*

Tha Chaos fella from the Obliterator is my personal favourite, great kit bashing/converting.
I also really like the stuff that you sculpted yourself.
 8) 8)

I made a few Inquistor scale conversions myself when the game first came out (15 years ago or so...!  :o :o).
I wish that you had not done this as I know I will find it difficult to resist looking to see what is available in 54mm.
The saving grace is that I would not use them for gaming as everything else I have is 28mm so I can tell myself not to waste time.

BTW: The old Blood Bowl ogre is a great figure to use as a basis for a Squat with a little green stuff. I know as I made one myself. In fact it is the only figure I still have from my own foray all those years ago....
 ;)

Thank you very much....:)

Here is some of the more weired stuff.
I wanted a female in the 54mm-collectoin but couldn't find one...
Then I found this at a "one-euro-store"....

So I used a few of my Fimo modelled bits and some greenstuff...:)

And added some paint.
Inspired by the old Sisters of Battle armybook cover.

Could add a few ore strokes....but you get the idea.... o_o

Cheers,
Don

Looks like a lot of fun! Impressed by the use of the disney toy, wouldn't have thought of it myself.

Great conversion, I love when a hobbyist turns "trash" into lovely miniatures!

I love the Belle conversion.  You should post this stuff on the Conclave, the Inquisitor forum, if you haven't already.
