Hasslefree Dwarves (part 3)
« on: 08 June 2017, 08:29:21 PM »
For the last couple of years I have been slowly working through my collection of Hasslefree's delightful feudal dwarves (I posted the Hospitallers and others in earlier threads).

I have now finished some more, and felt like I should post pictures out of a sense of catharsis now they are finally done.

Well, I say done, still a group of warriors with hand weapons, an ostler and a rather cantankerous mule to go... maybe in another year or two...  ::)

Anyway, pictures attached of the Duke, his sorceress sister and her familiar, his bodyguard and banner bearer, a Hospitaller battle-nun, and a group of crossbow armed warriors.

All comments and criticisms accepted gracefully as ever.  :)

Cracking stuff.   :)  You can't go wrong with an HF miniature though.   ;)

Wonderful brushwork on all but that fella leaning on his axe is my personal favourite.

Thanks very much lads.  :)

I must admit, the Bodyguard is one of my favourite minis, there's such an air of weary experience about him. Definitely not a dwarf to get on the wrong side of.

He probably looks at humans the same way a lumberjack looks at trees :)

Great painting!

Very nice, I really like HF dwarfs. They are well proportioned and have nice poses. Your paintjob does honor them and I really like the banner.

OUTSTANDING! The Vertically Challenged Ones painted up BEAUTIFULLY. The Fellow with the seriously large sword is my own favorite in the group. VERY WELL DONE, one & all!
