Hmmm, a larger version would also make a really cool portion of a table itself (much like the abandoned AT-AT art where it was used as a shelter).  Remove some of the cannon barrels, drape some tarps over it...open up one side, throw some ladders on it :D

I'm strongly considering this idea. I mean it already has that shovel door in the back that can open up.

Not sure why I didn't include this one as well, older pictures of the stripped Gundam frame.

I really like the rusted black on that mecha.  I don't think that is something that I've seen before.  Nice terrain, I really like the matrix access point.

Nice work on the grounded gundam.  I have a monster kit that I use in my 28mm mech games, though I replaced the 4 big cannon with rocket pods.

If you want to put it in your graveyard but still retain it for possible future use, a little rusty scafolding setup resting on it might be just the ticket.

Just seen this thread. It's all great, but I especially love the repurposed Pulp figures pilot. Very clever.

Thanks guys! I had almost forgotten how much LAF feedback can keep me going. I've started painting a infinity soldier I got in the exchange box, might start doing some multy level scaffolding for the mechs next, should add a lot of play area to them.

Ofcourse it was you where I got that idea from! Figures. I have a triple barrel arrangement from a heavy gear mammoth that I might cast another 3 of, I think they could  work as "rapid fire grenade launchers"

I'm thinking I want this thing still more beaten up and grimy before I give it its final top coat, but I think it already looks pretty cool.

Some hefty misalignment on that back of the feet that could use some dirt to hide the sins.

It will make some nice cover standing up, but Chrome warriors has a mechanism where Hackers can make cars move a short distance as an attack, of course I will extrapolate that to all the mechs in my graveyard as well!

Ah, a Destroid Phalanx.

Nice to see the old Macross(1/100) stuff making an appearance.

The kit really shows its age and has plenty of flaws, but at the same time I really like the look and design wise it holds up so well, very strong lines and overlaying angled surfaces.

Great stuff  8)

Love the weathering 👍🏻

I've got one of them I was going to use as a 'labour' for my Akita project (swapping the missile pods for something techy).

cheers

What's this? 2 updates in a day? that's more than I've done in 2 months!

I've tried a diferent photo app for this one, but really I need a good dedicated macro function, which bot the stock and this one lack. Any suggestions for android photo apps?

Shot of the base as I'm easily as proud of that scratch building and weathering as I am of the model.  ::)

Sweet Destroid!
Fantastic paint job.  Really looks like something that some sort of rebel group might get ahold of.
