My new table has been built..
« on: 10 June 2017, 10:12:08 AM »
Been working on a new man cave the last few months and have finally got to the stage of creating the gaming table .

It gives me a permanent gaming table, which can be 6x4, 7x4' or 8x4 as it has drop sides

Time to book an inaugural game ..

Lots more terrain works in the offing over the next few months.

That table looks great. Hopefully you put the brakes on the wheels when you have figures on it .  :o :o

Looks good.
Do you have a gaming room to play in?
Sadly I have to set up games in my living room.
Guess I am lucky to have a living room. :D

The table looks perfect! Do you have any WIP pictures you can share? Or maybe a picture showing the below?

Hi, yes it's a dedicated man cave space now with gaming table, airbrushing station and pant desk

Looks great.  The wheels would make me nervous unless they have quality breaks on them (or if you could have mounted those suspension mounted wheels or something).  The size and playability looks excellent.  I like that it's lipped, but not so much that you can't get line-of-sight or a good model's eye view of stuff.

Very nice all around! What do you do if you want to game in the desert or steppe though?

Use different mats or boards .. the green you see is an 8x4 deep cut studios mat

I am using an anti slip matting under the playing mats

Looks fantastic! My hobby stuff is all packed away in boxes with a temporary painting setup on a wobbly little table, so you have provided some good inspiration to get my act together. That table is the duck's nuts!

Very nice. Obviously you put a lot of thought in the table construction!

I picked up two second hand via a local toy auction house called Vectis . They have various ones in occasionally when they sell off collections http://www.vectis.co.uk/Page/Auctions.aspx

the other I bought from the company who makes them. - They are called Toyman Displays http://toymandisplays.com
