He came out pretty good in the end, especially given that I had 'tried' to colour both Pan and Thor in on at least half a dozen occasions and ended up being sidetracked with something else each time.....got there in the end, though!

Still plenty more to do as and when I can fit them in, 'cat lady' included!

Well here she is almost finished, I just have to sort out the fit on the yoke and I can begin slapping paint on before I make the base....
I hope she lives up to your billing.
 



Freya and Cat-Chariot WIP.

I finally pulled my finger out and got on with Freya and her cat-powered chariot.

You may, if you saw the earlier version, notice that Freya is a new model.
She is the Valkyrie-type from the Wargames Foundry Viking Legends set who has been told to dress appropriately for the job in hand. It will be a little cold on her snowy base.
 







The first version of Freya will now be used as Sif, as she looks far less 'warlike'.

(The chap on the left will be used as Odin, whilst the big lad on the right joins the Celt pile).



The chariot itself s a modified 4Ground Celt conveyance, greenstuffed to attempt to make it look more 'natural', something that has been magically created rather than constructed...






The 'Cats' are based on GW Gryph Hounds with heads from the old Citadel Pan Tang Tygers and, obviously, a liberal slapping of green stuff all round.




And a mock up of the various components at the moment...

It has been too hot to paint lately so she has got no further than an undercoat.
I have been doing some 1:1 scale building in the garden instead, including the installation of a 'hobbit door'....
