Interesting.

Do you know how widespread is the take up of reasonable resolution 3D printers amongst wargamers?

It might be worth a poll on this site.

How wide are the roads in your project?

What are the dimensions of the buildings?

Why are the location tabs on the 3D model the other way round on the printed examples?

Not exactly but apparently not a little

It might be worth a poll on this site.

How wide are the roads in your project? / What are the dimensions of the buildings?

You can rescale in different sizes: You can print for 6mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm or what you need...

Why are the location tabs on the 3D model the other way round on the printed examples?
What do you mean?

We have update our Kickstarter:

...it is half-time

- some printed pictures added

- first stretch goal is unlocked

Some persons have some questions, we will give answers:

Why this project?
We need your help to construct all models ready, this takes a lot of time and is also very costly.

Why should I support the project?
Be the first to receive the files. Some files will be downloadable later in the shop but not all. The packages will be more expensive than here, so save them now and save up to 40%.

Why are there so few models for the price?
There are no few, there are currently more than 30 models without Stretch goals.
a list can you find on Project site (and some new ones will be added)

Please follow us also if you not have a Printer the next Kickstarter is for you...

Looks good.
One point AKAIK cobblestones are normally laid perpendicular to the way shown on your example.

Okay, I was not clear. If the roads and buildings were full sized, how big would they be (I can then work out the scale size). The buildings have been artistically compressed, but to have doors suitable for figures of a scale they have to be a certain size.

Similarly for the roads, the width of the pavement (English term) and the road at a scale of 305mm to the foot.

The road should be wide enough for two scale lorries to be placed side by side but unless it is representing Harlem, the pavement should be no wider than two infantry figure bases.

Of course single track roads and narrow pavements are additional features but would need to be scaled so the connectors lined up.

In the animated picture showing the assembly of the two buildings the tabs are on the left facing the front and rear but on the physical models they are on the side panels and on the right side. They are also in different positions for the ground and first floor on the physical models. If they are a print they should be the same.

Good point before the widespread use of Tarmac, road surfaces would be distinctive. They could be "bricks", setts or cobbles. Their patterns would vary.
