Action at Franquenee - 1706
« on: 19 June 2017, 02:02:25 PM »
The weekend just gone saw me host three consecutive games all set in the War of the Spanish Succession.  the scenario was an exploration of the action during the Battle of Ramillies that occurred in and around the village of Fraquenee.  I have a better write up and more pictures on my blog but as a taster:

When you host a game and all of the participants leave the table happy and excited (indeed some even came back for second helpings in a subsequent game) you know you have something right.

In wargaming as in life - don't accept cheap imitations
