Just seen this and don't mean to repeat the acolades but that is a brilliant piece of kit.

Out of interest, is the model modular, as in can it be extended? I ask as I am about to buy the Forge World Coaching Inn but would prefer it to be larger and wonder if your model could be expanded?

Also - you mention the roof lifts off, what about the 1st floor i.e. do you build it as 3 pieces - Ground floor, 1st floor and roof?

Hi,
as promised I updated my homepage with a step-by-step paintingguide for the tavern (Dorfschänke).

There are many pictures and infos about the assembling, the used colors and paintingtechnics ....

Wow really congratulations, that's amazing!

2 questions:

1 - What kind of foam do you use to sculpt walls and rocks? :)
2 - what do you use to make the roof? I mean, was it a sheet of what material?

I'm a sculptor too and I have those 2 big problems...

Hey Elmar!

Great update! I am loving the lead plates idea. I was wondering what one could do for such situations and you've had a brilliant idea... as usual. :)
