so it seems - I hadn't spotted that although they are both Carnevale figures they were very different to build.

maybe next year I could have crouching ladies hidden ..... as a theme

Thanks Jagganath I must admit they are my favourite too.

Had the idea when I got the Salute figure last year (2016) and thought nice to add 4 other ladies to make a set as I like this type of figure.  Finally got four additional figures at this years salute and thought right now to get on with the painting.  But I couldn't find the original salute figure that was the inspiration for the round - much grumbling and swearing commenced.  I then looked at the cat burglar figure on the barrel which was 1/2 painted as it was intended to be in the Carnevale round but wasn't finished in time.  So change of plan and it became figure 5 and I think it fits ok with the rest.
