Thanks, syrinx0 and Corso!

Ploughing on…

Half-squad of Reivers. Like to imagine them as some sort of Light Bobs rather than stealthy guys, with a bit of leeway for individualised gear. So I strayed slightly off the intended uniform look for my Primaris marines and painted on some minor 'chapter-specific' details. (Also big thanks to Vanvlak for providing a couple of Salamanders transfer sheets.)

You may also notice that I didn't follow the now official jet-black skin colour for Salamanders marines. I get the fire giant reference (hence the sergeant's fiery orange hair), but to me it looks a bit daft. From a background perspective: perhaps those NuMarines
TM haven't been to Nocturne yet and so didn't get that distinct sunburn. As I'll limit unhelmeted figures to a minimum, it won't be as obvious.

Next were some Poxwalkers. Did I mention my great distaste for all things Nurgle? Well, my only excuse are these new hyper-detailed models. I mean, look at that…

Still aimed for a fairly fast-paced approach. Skin colours were stippled on for a patchy effect, then blisters, guts, horns, and maggots painted in pale ochre and off-white, finally the whole model heavily washed/glazed with red, purple, green, and yellow – done. Not the most brillant results, but good enough for such cannon-fodder.
Hope to finish the Plaguemarines soon, so the small box set will be done and I may get a first game.
