How much work was it to remove all the inquisition symbols and such? I'd been looking at that model at my local game store thinking it'd be a nice lander for my Rogue Trader campaign, but then though carving off all the inquisition stuff might be a) a pain in the butt and b) ruin the model... but you've done a GREAT job of it, so I'm left wondering how much of a pain in the butt was it to do that..?
The only Inquisition symbols that I removed were two on the tail which I clipped off with side cutters (SC), then trimmed off with a scalpel (KN) and filled with green stuff (GS).
The front doors just had the skulls snipped off the Inq symbol with a SC and then a plate of plasticard was glued on top. The gaps were filled with GS.
The big I on the top and the script on the wings were just filled filled with GS and sanded flat with fine emery paper.
I clipped a few extra bits off (wing eagles, skulls on the reard door hinges and top hatch) with SC and then trimmed with a KN before filling with GS (as required).
All told, actual contact time was probably about an hour and a half... but I had to wait for things to dry in between filling and sanding. It's very easy to do and completely changes the look of the dropship
