The Squats of Inso's Reach (TANKS!!!).

Yep, it's the Meng Toon King Tiger.

It is the same overall width, length and height of the Leman Russ... but the hull is a CM lower and the turret is a CM taller (so it evens out).

Hull length: 12 CM
Hull width: 7.8 CM
Overall height: 7.8 CM

Fantastic! that's actually a bit bigger than I imagined! I'm totally going to have to pick up a couple of the KV-2s and Ork-ify them!

It's got paint on... it's fully base-coated  ... but I can't fully paint it until I have decided how it will be marked up

The colour looked so smooth, I somehow assumed that was the colour of the natural plastic - I should have figured that was not so based on the fact that the GUN BARRELS were not part of the original kit though!? (I am a bit of a thicko!)

I have the pens, I have the lascannons and I have the sprue for the punisher cannon.

Once they are converted, that will be the first section of the tank company complete. Then another two lots of three and a command tank .

The third tank has been washed and will start this week. It'll be getting a visible tank commander to denote it as a lead tank but he won't be a tank commander, rules wise... he'll just be a normal tank (he'll just have a normal helmet rather than a significantly leader-like hat/helmet).

See? I can paint things occasionally

Those look great! I've had my eye on the What a Tanker rules, but straight WWII tanks didn't seem all that appealing. These however!
