Its seems almost HIPs but its not.

Less bendy, and holds detail better on smaller minis that normal white bones does.

But it still feels/handles similar.

Is about the best description I can give it - assume its a slightly modified "blend"

Hi Beefcake, I'm in NZ as well, just wondering if you have received your KS stuff yet...> Nothing down here in Welly :(

Nope. I have the shipping notification but it is still in Sydney, where it has been for the past week. Very frustrating seeing it like that every day.
Like your location. Upoko o te Ika, never thought of Wellington like that.

It's probably sitting in some crate at Auckland airport I'd say.

Not sure if it's all of it or not, really sick this week and don't have the energy to cross check.  I see a few things that look like must gets already, but I think I'll wait for the fever to subside before spending any money.

Back to bed.
Yeah, I was hoping Reaper would have been at Historicon with Bones 3.
Both hopes were a strike out. :-(

What are the miniatures from dark grey plastic? They look quite different to standars Bones.
Probably the weapons packs, or anything else advertised on the KS page as being made in "Bonesium" like their earlier dumpsters & shipping containers were.  The stuff is actual hard plastic (although very lightweight) no bendies here.

I was hoping they would get better with the material. They speak about new molds. I always thought it was the same molds with different medium. I would love to see hard plastic. In fact, any company doing plastic i wish would do hard plastic like GW plastic. Hate the PP plastics. Don't like bendy plastics. Hell even the MK plastics are better than the bendy type.

Well mine is in Auckland now, apparently on its way to my local distribution centre, although it was like that a few days ago and usually there is only about a day turn around. I was hoping it was going to be on my door yesterday. Touch and go whether it will arrive before 4 starts.

Mine arrived yesterday. I got the Froghemoth and Gore Maw as add ons. Froghemoth is huge for $10. Great value. I may do some conversion to it and get rid of the silly attachment on top of the head and sculpt some better eyes on it. I've separated it, selfishly, into a pile for the kids and a pile for me (I grabbed most of the big things and left the adventurers for my kids and their never-ending demands for painting).
