Who makes the 'best' lookin' Demons?
« on: 25 March 2009, 02:02:10 PM »
Hey ya'll.

I am running a game this summer, and I need some really 'horrifying' lookin' demons/devils.  I need about one greater demon, and a few smaller demons, for a total of about 5 figs.

I got some leads from the chaps at TMP, but more input is always better, right?

I am lookin' fer a demon/devil, roughly 28mm scale ( but bigger is better!  ;) ). It can be the classic "horns and hoofs" variety, or even some otherworldly (Cthulhu) lookin' thing.

I looked at  the Hell Dorado figs.  They best so far, but my knowledge of 'demon' minis is limited.

Any figs out there you can recommend?
Thanks!

Yes, Heresy would be first call (second time I've plugged Andy's stuff today!).

But I would also check out the Eureka ones as well for more a gribbly/cthulhu style.

Ninja Edit: Here's one I made earlier:

Yep, the "Heresy" demons are great. (Proud owner of a Netherlord I.)

Reaper Minis has some nice models, and I also like the old (lead) Deamonettes from GW.

Well, Heresy has plenty of shots on their website. Probably the best way to judge for yourself.

My ex-wife would make an excellent demon miniature, but I'm afraid that the brave sculptor's head would melt from seeing her image.....

One miniature is too many, and a thousand are not enough...
