« on: 25 March 2009, 06:11:11 PM »
Just come across this whilst trawling ebay. The seller's got 21 of them. Bought one for myself!  :D

CRAP! My credit card has been disabled because of fraud (it was hacked and a transaction I didn't do to Dubai and France led to the block) and thus I cannot order these. Darn, these are pretty hot for the price. Thanks for the link!

Sorry, Onebigriver.  I ordered 3, thanks for the link :)

I then got carried away on ebay looking for Pulp and (W)WWII stuff, and forgot to come back and say thanks!

Mine arrived in yesterday's post.  Just as you'd expect from pre-paints, colour is a bit flat, but I might be able to get away just with a dark green wash and a rebase :) My WWWII and WWII and 1938 British Civil Weird forces now have something to really fear! Mwahahahahah  lol

Glad I could be of help, though I wonder if the seller would thank or curse me for the free advertising if he knew.

Won't get to see mine til I'm next home, but it will definitely get a repaint. It's a shame the paint is so hard to strip with the detail on clix figures being a little soft at times, but those are the breaks.

Please can you give me an idea how tall the figure is (minus the base)?

Hugh

From memory, about 40mm.  I shall try and remember to measure it when I get home tonight!

Edit:
Back at home now and I've got him in front of me - looks a lot like is publicity photo:

Measuring from the top of the base (i.e., ignoring base depth) He is 34mm to the top of the crest on his head and 45mm to the tip of the horn on his right wing

Hope that helps, Hugh :)

personally.... don't like that figure at all. Legs too long, torso too thin, pot belly looks silly, arms too human in the anatomy, wings too high, too thick and too large!!!  yak! ;D
