(AP 2017) - WWII Germans

Last year I did a German 15mm artillery company and support.

This year I'm moving up to 28mm and will do an Early War army for Bolt Action, particularly for Op Sealion/Gigant.

I will start with Infantry:

Jul - The plan being HQ and support weapns  (these are done and I'll post pics up soon).

Aug - 2 Infantry Squads

Sep - 1 Infantry squad and some BUF support.

I will follow these up with some Fallschirmjaegers and then some Panzergrenadiers  as I picked a load up when they were doing sprues for bargain prices.

You say you are doing early-war Germans - wasn't the Panzershrek late war kit?

No idea 

My army list doesn't include the 'schreks", but at our club we sometimes run alternative lists (eg Hollywood fully SMG equipped squads), so I got some and painted them.

Next squad is awaiting varnish at the moment, having had grass tufts added this evening.

Looking good, although I'm not sure even Hollywood would have 'schreks in 1940 (oh, I don't know though  ).

Love that building as well, Petite Properties station masters house?  You've done a great job on that.

Thanks levied troop.  Yes, it's the Station Master's Cottage  I have a number of their buildings built and ready for painting for my village.  The church is still in a bag though - it's gonna be a big project.

I like the early war germans because they remind me of 60s-70s war movies, which in my opinion are the best.
