VSF game from Ricco's Holiday Bash (pic heavy)
« on: March 27, 2009, 03:52:33 AM »
I was supposed to get pictures of this up a few months ago. It was an eight player game with Prussians and Russians taking on a ragtag force of Americans and Brits, fighting for supremacy on a Chinesse battlefield. Ricco wrote up some great rules that were fast, fun and bloody. I wish that I had taken the time to do up a proper battle report, but here are some pics in the very least:

Sterling Moose's excellent Cossack spider riders attacking the British flank:

The Russian Infantry:

A fantastic pair of Steam Tanks from Dan Hutton:

(More pics of this great model at http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=10286.0 )

The  Havoc with a commanding view of the battlefield:

Sterling Moose's Walker meeting an untimely end from Ricco's dril:

A fun, fun game. I'll aim for better pictures next time.

Very nice.  What rules did you use?
I recognized all the vehicles except the cossack spider walkers.  What were they made from?

Lookd fun, chaotic and full of VSF goodness. The spider riders are a splendid idea :)

I hope you gave them one for Prussia!

I really like the robot!

I've been contemplating a large steamdriven robot... just haven't found one of those old tin toy robots suitable yet.

Every time I see those Russians by lead pile tells me it feels lonely....  :)

Nice game and photos.

Looks like it was a lot of fun. Some really nice work on all the vehicles.

Those spiders are starting to creep me out a bit. o_o
