Street Wars NYC, just recently funded on Kickstarter, won best participation game at the Claymore Wargames show in Edinburgh on Saturday.  Here are a couple of pics of the game:

Looks great.  Nice graffiti too!

I wonder how well the rules would convert to non NYC settings?

Hi,
The game should translate very well to non-NYC settings and I think it would work for any situation involving gang or tribal violence.  I think it has been used for a 19th century Gangs of New York game and we've talked about using the rules to game 1960s British Mods vs Rockers or soccer hooligan violence.  The figures for the game are themed around 1970s New York but the game isn't prescriptive and can be used with any figures.

Well deserved, CONGRATULATIONS!  ;)

BTW: a Scooby-Doo gang fighting the Cobras? WTF?!?!?!  :o

We use the Scooby gang as our npc civillians.  They just keep finding themselves in the rotten part of the Big Apple.  Daphne and Velna have been mugged several times although the last time one of the Cobras tried to do it to Velma she knocked him out!
