Hmm, sounds interesting to me. Iceland 938AD. A spot of civil war. A whole bunch of bolshie Icelanders. Yes, I like that idea a lot.  :)

Oh, yah, left-wing Íslenska Hvítabjörn riddaralið are going to crush the filthy oppressors! I'm going to get some Polar Bear Cavalry painted up post-haste. o_o

Well meaning Manitobans will be sending cash, duck-hunting guns and dried fish from lake Winnipeg in order to support the revolution.
This is going to be some real exciting gaming. Someone brew a pot of coffee.

At least the terrain won't be too difficult. Not much call for trees.

The more I think about it, the more I like it. Time to do some research. I think it should be closely based on the films of Hrafn Gunnlaugsson. Specifically Hrafninn flýgur, Í skugga hrafnsins and Embla. Right, I'm off to watch them again and then I shall write the sourcebook ...  :D

Yes, well penguins are black and white, so they must be fascists.

Okay, now please nobody point any ECW3 zealots to this thread, or they'll be very cross with me and send the south-east Rutlandshire refuse collectors antichrist militia round to post a turd through my letterbox  ;)

Sorry, I really shouldn't take the p*ss, the counter-factual 'what if' scenario for Britain in the mid-1930's is genuinely intriguing.

I'm just waiting for someone to suggest A Very Spanish Civil War set in the mid-1930s...  lol
